Mix and mingle with refreshments & small bites starts at 6. Movies start at 7. Lights, camera, local history! As part of Ohio Goes To The Movies, the Miami Historical Society of Whitewater Township presents “History in Your Own Backyard” movies all about Whitewater Township. Join us Wednesday, April 22, 2026—mix and mingle at 6 p.m., You are invited to explore our newly updated museum displays, including our beloved historic flag and quilt. Miamitown’s 137th consecutive Memorial Day Ceremony brings the community together in gratitude and reflection as we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. The marching band, veterans, and local families line the streets not in celebration alone, but in solemn remembrance of the sacrifices that protect our freedoms. During America’s 250th anniversary, this tribute reminds us that the story of our nation has been written—and defended—by those we remember today.
Time: Parade starts at 12noon. 5/25/2026
Location: The main street in Miamitown. Speaker will be at the band stand by the fire house.
